Our History

The Mitchel Lincoln family of companies has maintained a family-oriented approach since its inception. Every individual associated with Mitchel Lincoln embodies a unique and agile team spirit, reflecting the family-inspired values in all their endeavors.

Established in Montreal in 1965, Mitchel Lincoln Packaging was guided by Mitch Garfinkle for forty years, who embraced a hands-on management style and an open-door policy. He considered the company and its employees an extension of his family, truly embodying the essence of a family-run business. Even today, we uphold Mitch’s philosophy by striving to remain adaptable, innovative, and competitive in sustainability, quality, and technology.

As Quebec’s most prolific producer of corrugated packaging, we have had the privilege of serving some of Canada’s leading brands across various industries. Through the acquisitions of Emballage Victoriaville Sheet Plant (now our Drummondville corrugated manufacturing facility) in 1985, Induscorr in 2014, and Imacor in 2016, we have significantly broadened our service offerings, establishing ourselves as the preferred supplier of corrugated cartons in Quebec. With three corrugated manufacturing plants, employing over 800 individuals in Quebec, a sheet plant for small quantities, a partnership with Atlantic Packaging of Toronto, and collaboration with the New Forest Paper Mill, we have positioned ourselves as leaders in the Quebec and Eastern Canadian packaging market – all with a commitment to better serve our customers!
